Grand Slam Lodge is located on the shore of legendary Reindeer lake just a short distance from the village of Kinoosao in northern Saskatchewan. You can drive right to the front door of Grand Slam Lodge and stay in comfortable log cabins right on the lake.
From Winnipeg, head North on Highway 6 through Grand Rapids, to the Ponton turn-off. Turn right and drive to Thompson. Continue Northwest out of Thompson on Highway 391, through Leaf Rapids and on to the town of Lynn Lake. From Lynn Lake just 62 miles on Highway 394 to Kinoosao and Reindeer Lake, just across the Saskatchewan border. Grand Slam Lodge is located 1 mile south of Kinoosao.
Chartered flights may be available from Winnipeg to Lynn Lake. Inquire when booking your trip. Transportation is provided from the airport in Lynn Lake, Manitoba to the lodge.
Reindeer Lake is almost 2,000,000 acres and is rated as the world's 22nd largest fresh water body; 10th largest in North America. 5500 islands and more than 5700 miles of shoreline (combined islands and shoreline) provide you with an endless array of protected fishing spots. On Reindeer you will not lose fishing time because of wind. There is always a protected place to fish. Fishing Reindeer Lake is like fishing a thousand small lakes filled with huge fish.
